During her childhood, Ranjini became the victim of medical negligence and misconceptions when she was treated with the antibiotic penicillin for the common cough and cold without administering any test doses to confirm a possible allergic reaction. One of the local doctors was the culprit and Ranjini was a 9-year-old girl at the time.

However, this is a common practice in India, where doctors prescribe antibiotics without considering their side effects and rarely administer test doses to determine if the patient has an allergic reaction to the administered antibiotic. People also tend to self-medicate, which can lead to similar problems.

Ranjini was allergic to penicillin and, as a result, developed "Steven Johnson syndrome" after receiving full-dose penicillin treatment. Gradually her vision began to deteriorate and when she completed her career for B.Com, she lost the vision in her right eye.

This loss made life difficult for her as she struggled to find a suitable job due to his disability. But she never gave up and decided to take a CA course, one of the toughest in the country, to improve her chances of landing a suitable job. She began the CA course with endless perseverance, steadfastness, and determination.

During the CA course, it was not compulsory to attend regular classes. So Ranjini used the time to learn how to use the computer and screen-reading software. She converted all of his study materials into an electronic copy and began studying with the help of screen reading software (the software that reads content on screen). She focused on the course that allowed her to achieve success even after facing many initial difficulties.

Today, she was well placed as a CA in a well-known and well-established firm.
