India's most "qualified man"; 20 degrees from 42 Universities and a world record too!

Many of you would not know about Shrikant Jichkar. He was the man who was officially known as the most qualified person in India; Because during his life, the man had accumulated 20 degrees by writing 42 college exams!.

With his name immortalized in the Limca Book of Records, Jichkar already had 14 wallets under his belt when he turned 25. According to the Limca Book of Records, Jichkar's status as the most qualified person in the country remains undisputed.

During his life, Jichkar obtained the following titles:

4. Masters in Business Administration, DBM and MBA

Jichkar passed most of his first division exams and also won several gold medals. The man sat for 42 university exams during the period of 1973 and 1990. After passing his IPS exam, he soon quit just to write his IAS exam, which he also passed. After four months, he resigned his position to contest the first general elections .

He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra in 1980, becoming the youngest politician in India. He also served as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, as a Minister of State and as an MP for Rajya Sabha.

Jichkar's love for academics is further demonstrated by his large collection of 52,000 books that he kept in his personal library. The genius passed away at age 49 in a car accident.
